  This Past Sunday My Wife Took Me To The Elders!

  early sunday morning, around 1:30 a.m., my wife wakes me and says that she can't sleep and needs to talk with me.

  i say ok and she proceeds to tell me that she wants a seperation.

  i was hurt, but not shocked, because our relationship is not that close at this point after 14 yrs of marriage.

  Do not let her flick you off and have life mosy on - NO WAY - YOU'RE the head of your household - i f she wants to "serve jehovah" by ending your marriage then make sure she realises that's what she has to do, fully - she needs to give up everything - make sure she realises that she would need to leave the home, because you aren't, this business isn't your idea

  the wtbts places themselves as the dispensers of the food that comes from god - indeed they even say that they are part of the makeup of "the christ", taking up where he and the apostles left off - the source of god on earth today

  jesus taught that which came from god, and if he was wrong about stuff that he had said, do you think he would be truthful about it - even step down?

  the wtbts teaches what they imagine should come from god, and arrogantly continue on in the position, even after it has been shown that it obviously hasn't come from god.

  Who can imagine Jesus, after being shown to be wrong, tightening up the reigns and reproclaiming his "special status", heightening the surveillance of those who are recalling the "old stuff" to inform the "new ones", sending out his apostles as a DF party if someone is found speaking truth about him and his past ?

  in reading a post above, this thought hit me:i know nimrod's name in hebrew means "let's rebel".. .

  i've seen this same type statement numerous times.

  "so-and-so's name, which means xxxxx ..." and amazingly the person's name means or describes what they just did (see quote above).

  - personally I think that YHVH is another way of saying I Am Who Am, and that jeboobah is simply a ridiculous idea of ignorance enacted

  1000 Year Reign of Christ - A little help please

  i have been looking at some of russell's charts and such and it is indicated that the millinial reign of christ would have begun in 1874 new understanding 1914..... .

  does this mean that we are now living nearly a 100 years into the 1000 year reign?

  yesterday morning was my bookstudy.

  but i had a runway show to do that night (i think i have mentioned before that i have been pursuing modeling) and so of course i had to skip out.

  my parents go to a differ bookstudy than me but in the same hall and so they were able to notice that i was not there.

  Ok, A Paduan, "let us discuss" refers to the elders saying that, not Blondie, eh? By the time the elders approach you with that statement, they have already discussed you with each other individually, the elder body as a whole, and some even their wives (and then the wives with the best friends). The decision has already been made.

  I thought I should elaborate - my comment was really about their use of this term in their text - it's ridiculous - the "discussion" is them telling you, them picking certain questions that only some of you ask and telling you again, and them telling you what to say and think and do - the term "let us discuss" is frankly a little absurd.

  They don't give credit to Jesus, indeed because He does teach that which comes from God - whereas the wtbts teaches what they arrogantly imagine should come from God, even after it doesn't, obviously - I have no doubt that if Jesus was wrong about the stuff He said previously, He would be truthful and step down - not tighten up the reigns and reproclaim his "special status", and heighten the surveillance of those who might remember the "old stuff" and inform the "new ones".
